Not made for wide feet nor for orthotics

I guess there is a reason that Sorel does not have reviews on their own website! I sized up half so I could wear thicker socks during autumn/early winter. The length is fine, but oh my god do NOT buy if you have wide feet. Also do not buy if you have custom orthotics you’re hoping to slip in, or if your feet are wide from sole to ankle. Even if you sized up, the length would just be off and it would be bad for your feet. I’m normally a size 7.5, I ordered an 8, but to get the width horizontally and vertically for my midfoot I would probably have to buy like an 11 and then I would have several extra inches to trip over. I was already skeptical of it being waterproof because it’s a Chelsea boot and there’s that like mesh panel in the middle, but I figured Sorel should be good quality and comfortable. The material looks like it could be of good quality but the fit is so poor. Only buy if you have like very narrow feet.

Perfect Boot

I can walk on these for a long time very comfortable. I normally wear a 6 1/2 but I read the other reviews and ordered a seven and did not regret it.

thick soles great for weather

I'm so in love with these! They're perfect for 3/4 seasons, and great even on wet days. Stylish and I feel super secure walking in them in bad weather because the tread is so great.

I was not sure but love them

I have been looking to buy some Sorel boots for a while. I was nervous because the ratings were a lot, from great to hate. I finally decided to buy this pair and I love, love, love them. I totally recommend them, I wear socks so no rubbing against my ankle or leg warmers sometimes. If you are looking for something comfy and true to size I suggest you make the purchase as well.

Heels slipped, returned

I love the style of these boots but I unfortunately had to return them. I ordered a size 7 as I'm usually a 7 in sneakers/boots, but my heels were slipping, so I also tried sizing down to both a 6.5 and 6 and my heels were slipping slightly in those too. Since these are real leather I didn't want to risk them stretching out a bit. I'm really bummed but I hope a future update will improve the shape/construction in the heel part.
