The pants are long enough for their size but hip and waist are very narrow. The fabric is made of non stretchy material so if you have a heavier child, you could not even force your way in. The pants in the picture look white however in person the pants have more of a vanilla ice cream color. The thing that I like about these pants are the length and the deep pockets. However, I couldn't keep them because they were not wide enough.
