Speck case did not disappoint

The control buttons work well, and is much easier to pick up, and hold onto, than the Apple Clear Case that was previously on the phone. The Apple case was way too slippery, and resulted in several drops. Also, this case provides better protection than the Apple.

Prefer older iPhone 8 version of grip ridges

For 5 years have used similar case with my iPhone 8 and it worked great to have a good grip on my phone. It also was very good at not sliding on smooth and other surfaces. Upgraded to iPhone 16 and thought I was getting a similar case. Only been using it for about a week, but so far it does not seem as secure in my hand or on surfaces. This I suspect is due to the iPhone 8 one having ridges on side and back, while the iPhone 16 has ridges on side, but indents on back so somewhat less grippy. Would also be better to have some side ridges between power and camera buttons on right side. Back ridges would also help in leveling the back with the camera surround ridge, so iPhone would wobble less on flat surface. Other aspects of the case are still good.

Could be better

The old styles had raised grips and made the case grippy. The new style has indented grips, which makes no sense in terms of grip.

Great Iphone16 case! Super grip!

This is a great looking case with a solid non-slip grip and great protection. This is my third Speck case as I have upgraded my iPhones and I’ve loved them all!
