Worked for me!

I was happy that they ran small. I‘m female, and was disappointed that there were no plain white canvas boat shoes available. But I lucked out and got the very last pair of white canvas shoes (Mens’!) In most shoes I wear size 7-1/2 or 8, but I take 8-1/2 W or even a 9 in womens’ canvas Sperrys. I crossed my fingers and ordered 7-1/2 in mens and they fit just fine.
