Dangerous lid

I bought three Spode travel mugs as Christmas gifts and learned that the plastic sip lids popped off with the heat of beverage. This is especially dangerous while commuting in a car! I would request a refund but the gifts have been sent to others.

Wonderful addition to my Spode collection

Even though it's a little smaller than I pictured (I probably didn't read the entire description), it's a beautiful mug. There's no handle obviously, but because the china is thick, it's not too hot to hold when full. I may never use it for traveling because it's weighty, but I know I'll use it often around the house for whatever beverage I'm drinking at the time. It's a wonderful addition to my small Spode Christmas Tree collection.

Damaged beyond repair!

Shattered! Packaged in a box with no packing material. Merry Christmas. A replacement is no longer available. I found one at Bed Bath & Beyond for twice the price. Very disappointed. My last delivery was also mishandled.
