beware 3rd party seller

I ordered these 2 pillow inserts in March. Only 1 pillow arrived. Customer service said the 2nd one was out for delivery in April. Never arrived. Customer service I would get a refund. Never happened. Then customer service said they had to contact seller and I would be updated. Never happened. Then customer service said it would be escalated and I would get a refund. Never happened. Now customer service is saying the same thing - they have to wait to hear from the seller. Bottom line - Macy's sold me an item online and collected my money. Macy's uses 3rd party sellers to supply the items. If the seller doesn't send the item, instead of Macy's issuing a refund while they chase the seller now it's my problem. Supervisor said there's no way to issue a refund and gave me the seller's email, Can you believe this? What has happened to Macy's? I would never buy anything from Macy's with a 3rd party seller because Macy's does not back their own sales.
