Womp womp

I am so disappointed with the “results”. This is my second attempt at getting any sort of tan from this tanning gel. The first time, I applied overnight and had no results after showering it off. Today I left it on for 3 hours which is supposed to be dark, only to be left frustrated and disappointed yet again, as there isn’t even a slight difference in my skin colour. The rest of the bottle is going in the trash. What a shame. Such a waste of time and money.

All rinsed off

I bought the St. Tropez Bronzing Gel. As suggested, I tried a test patch and rinsed off after 1.5 hours. I could not tell there was any difference. I waited overnight to see if there was a change but still could not notice. This was surprising because I am fair skinned. I tried a larger area the second time and left on 4 hours. Again, after I rinsed, it all came off and I could not tell any difference than my original skin colour. Very disappointed. It was quite expensive and such a waste of money.

Doesn’t work-

I normally use the St Tropez mousse (non fast action) and it works great. Decided to try the fast acting gel. It’s a liquid and doesn’t apply as well as the mousse. First time using I left on for an hour to test it and no difference when I rinsed off. Then I left it on for 3 hours and after rinsing I was barely left with a tan. This formulation leaves a ton of brown water when you rinse off. Bottom line, the fast acting gel didn’t work for me at all. Stick to the regular mouse version (non quick version). This gel also feels tacky compared to the moouse.

Not a gel!! A liquid. I left it on all night and every bit of it washed off the next day leaving no tan, not even a tint, whatsoever. I want a refund. This stuff is way too expensive to not work. I’m going back to the moouse

Was green :(

I bought this a month ago, and the foam that came out was green. I patch tested and sure enough, my skin is green! Perhaps it was faulty packaging, but am sure am glad I only patch tested!

ST. Tropez Self Tanner

Been using it now for a few days and it looks like it works fine for me. It has a light smell that is pleasant on my skin. I use it on my face and neck only and I saw a difference within two hours or so. The only issue I have with the pump is that it pumps out more gel that I don't need.
