Great Instructions and Solid Unit, but noisy

The assembly was time-consuming, but the instructions were clear and all of the parts were easily identified. I have used the unit three times now, and it seems to work fine for my needs. I have an ankle injury and need to get some aerobic exercise not involving my legs. The only drawback so far is that the pedal box is very noisy (a squeaky noise) when you first start exercising. The noise abates a bit after some time of using, but it is still there and annoying. That is the reason I have given a 4 rating instead of a 5. Is there any way to lubricate the mechanism in the pedal box?

OK,GREAT WITH MINOR ADJUSTMENT FOR YOUR COMFORT.

ACKWARD RODS NOT PEDALS FOR 50 MORE YOU CAN GET A DIFFERRENT MODEL WITH REAL PEDALS. OTHER STAMINA MODEL IS THE SAME EXCEPT IT HAS PEDALS, SMALLER SEAT AND BACK, AND DIFFERRENT DISPLAY.

Thank you for your feedback. Please keep in mind that the 15-0301 is for upper body exercise so it does not have pedals. The rods are so that you can rest your feet while exercising your upper body. Not such a good start.

The lock will only stay locked on 1 setting, the area where the pedals attach gets very hot, and the other night one of the pedals came off.

Update: Customer service is wonderful; they quickly sent me a replacement bike. But before long, the stats display device died. Then later, I had problems with the resistance control, which eventually broke completely.
