I wanted these to be my thermals for running or walking outside in cold Buffalo winters. It's not working at all like it should. The strangest part of these underwear is that they bunch up excessively when you try to layer them with other pieces of clothing. Everything bunches up. Socks. Pants. The only thing that sometimes works is sweatpants. The inner material feels like cheap synthetic insulant -- not fabric for clothing but more like industrial pipe insulator. I chose the correct size, but the crotch is very loose and not form-fitting, creating a lot of draft in the crotch. They are very bulky and uncomfortable. Do not like these at all.
Stanfield’s Heat FX Long John’s
I ordered two pair of Stanfield’s HeatFX men’s l merino wool long johns and they’re great. The quality is great and they’re a good fit. I’m just sorry for not having ordered two (2) more.

Bot warm enough.
Fabric should be heavier—not warm enough. Also, they need to be washed separately because fabric softener cannot be used.
Quality
Very well-made true to size, quality material. Purchased for next winrer, expect that it will be quite warm given the material content and brand. Since noit worn during winter, withholding a star. However, feel confident it's a 5 star
