Utter failure!! Not only that, they flat outright lied about having the product after checking with them twice to be sure they had it. They delayed as long as they could to try to find it. Don't bother doing any type of business with Bloomingdale, you're setting yourself up for huge disappointment!!

4QT Shallow Wide Cocotte

Recently added this and the 6QT shallow wide to my Staub collection and I really like them! For those dishes that don't require a lot of height but do need some width. Specifically been using my shallow wide for chicken and rice dishes and they work great! Like all Staub products the quality is unmatched and they look great as serving dishes once the meal is cooked.

A Fairly Large Surprise

The size of this pot is completely unexpected. It almost feels like its bigger than a 4qt but yet is is a 4qt. It leaves plenty of room for stirring and is the same wonderful quality of all the other Staub products. I hope to purchase the blue next.

This cocotte does it all - sear meat, simmer a sauce, make a stew, roast vegetables, fry chicken, boil potatoes, bake a dessert, and everything in between! The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly, evenly and stays hot for hours. It has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish keeping your flavor base intact. I love to serve pumpkin risotto in this cocotte during the fall.

Versatile! Ample Size!

This braiser cast iron is versatile! Shallow but wide, so easily organized every ingredients in one beautiful presentation, convenient stirring food and perfectly cooked without interrupting cooking temperature inside! This braiser is deep enough not just for braising. An excellent cocotte for roasting, frying and stir frying vegetables and fried rice pan, just like an Asian wok and great for baking breads too! This 6qt. cocotte provides ample room for all the ingredients, cooking stew or baked beans, and an excellent seafood pot such as mussels and clams as well as lobsters and crabs. The innovative heavyweight, tight-fitting lid retains moisture, spikes on the lid create a rain-forest effect continually release condensed liquid back onto the food yielding moist, flavorful results. Staub cast iron cookware features heat retention and even heat distribution. Staub comes with a variety of colors to choose from and I loved basil, grenadine, and specialty La Mer and Lime Green, so beautiful that I want to collect all of them! cooked like a pressure cooker. Works on all stovetop including induction and oven safe up to 900F.

Dont do the same mistake I did

I have been holding off for a long time on purchasing this item. Boy, do i regretted that. Finally gave in and bought one. I did roast. It is amazing. This was my first Staub and now have 2 more.
