Another Staub Beauty

7qt oval
I love my new 7qt oval . I went back and forth trying to decide on round or oval. I think oval is the better choice for me. I’ve made long roast that won’t fit in a round. I also make my marinara in it. Perfect size for a giant can of tomatoes. One of my best kitchen purchases ever

Can’t beat the quality
You can’t beat the quality of these pots. They cook evenly and I love how the lid basted the food while cooking. I can go from stove to grill as well. This is my 2nd purchase of a Staub pot.

You can sear meat, simmer a sauce, make a stew, roast vegetables, fry chicken, boil potatoes, bake a dessert, and everything in between! The heat capability of this pan is phenomenal. It heats up quickly, evenly, and retains heat all the way through the cooking process. The cocotte has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish - keeping your dish moist and the flavor base intact. The pan can be used on any cooking surface and is temperature safe up to 500F.
