beautiful, but very long

I purchased the flax in size medium and it fits beautifully. However, I am 5’4 1/2 inches tall and it comes to my ankles. I want to keep it, but it would need to be hemmed and I’m worried that it will change the fit and flow of the skirt. I’ll need to speak with a seamstress to get her option. Really don’t want to return it. Sue M.
