Not 2 inches .

The chain is so extremely thin , with very VERY small holes for the clasp , so I couldn't put it on by myself . The turtle itself is beautiful , with feet that move -- but instead of 2" as advertised , it is half that size -- only 1 inch for the turtle , and 1 1/4 inches if you include the bail .
