Great fall to winter transition bootie

I originally ordered a 8.5 ( my typical boot size due to wearing thicker socks in the winter) however I exchanged for a smaller 8 due to heel slippage as with ankle shaft height only no show socks work well aesthetically as the ankle area is more open. I wear an 8 in flats and sandals in almost all brands. If in doubt or between sizes, size down. I plan to wear them with ankle jeans and long cardigans or oversized sweaters. Cute boot that doesn't break the bank!

Very cute but not very comfortable...

After reading how small they ran in the reviews, I ordered half a size bigger. They fit in the toes but slipped out in the back. I took them back to a store and exchanged them for half a size smaller. For some reason they seem to either be too big or too small. I tried wearing them a while to mold them in but my feet were hurting after a few hours. Since then I've put shoe stretchers in them while on the shelf and that really seemed to do the trick. My advice is, buy a bigger size and put some comfy insoles in them because they have no cushioning whatsoever. They are very cute though...

THis boot is for everyday wear. It runs a bit narrow in the toe, but overall comfortable boot.
