Anniversary Experience Ruined

I ordered these glasses for my wife because while on our wedding anniversary trip the waiter served her with one of these and she fell in-love with it talking about how cute it is and that she was going to see if she can find them and have them sent to our home. As an anniversary gift and attempting to be the husband i want to continue to be, I immediately started my quest to find these glasses. I found them on Macy's website. Ordered them as a gift with the special message that comes with the gift. While tracking the order, I noticed it had been shipped. I was excited! My wife had no clue! Well a package from Macy's arrived earlier than expected. I was over joyed!!! I waited for my wife to get home so she could open the package and be surprised and read my heart warming note. She opened the box. She was excited to receive the glasses but there was no note. The packaging was in a beat up box and had no special gift makings or note inside. Ruined the extent of my surprise!! I then received an email stating my order (With the Gift note)had just shipped. I tracked the order. It went to someone else in South Carolina. We live in Georgia. Needless to say I was very disappointed. While my wife is happy with the glasses the experience was ruined. I emailed Macy’s about the mix-up but to this day have not received any response. If it was not for the mishap I would have rated the glasses a 5-Star, but this experience has me a little perturbed .
