Frustrating Customer Service experience

I ordered the button tufted upholstered headboard. It arrived on time; however, the shipping package did not contain the hardware (metal support "legs") needed to attach the headboard to the bedframe. I attempted to contact the company, and they said my only option was to return the headboard, wait for a gift card to arrive with the refunded amount (2-3 weeks), and begin the entire process over again, hopefully with different results this time. They refused to simply ship the two missing metal pieces. While I do like the headboard, the frustrating Customer Service experience will prevent me from ordering anything else from this company.
