Great dress but small sleeves

I accidentally received this dress from Macy's and tried it on just for kicks. It was actually adorable. At first I received the green one And found it comfortable even in 90° weather. I went ahead and ordered the one in black in a medium which is my normal size. While the dress part fit fine I found the sleeves in the underarm area to cut almost like a petite size. I ripped the seams and re-sewed it to hit a little lower on my torso. Other than that I recommend this dress to everyone for the summer.

Arms very tight

Dress was super flowery and was attractive however the sleeves were cut super tight so I ended up returning it.

cute summer dress

It's cute and fits well. My usual size is XL and this is true to size with a roomy fit. I'm 5'3" and the length is just to the top of my knees. I only wish the top of the dress were made of a stretchy material like the body of the dress is.

I returned this dress as I did not like the green color which is very drab. I might have kept it if the other colors were a available.
