Great fit except in the length

I really like the pants. The material is high quality and will last wash after wash. They fit perfectly except for one thing. I am 5'1" tall; therefore, I ordered petite size. As expected the pants are at least two inches too long. I encounter this frequently and wish that manufacturers would recognize the vast difference between pants that fit a woman 5'4" and a woman who is 5'1". Perhaps they could make some of the petite sizes to fit the smaller woman. Some companies make petites with the designation "short" that fit us short women much better. Sadly, very few manufacturers do this.
