Aqua Swirl is really a Robins Egg Blue. Size down.

There is no swirl pattern in the Aqua Swirl. It is solid color with no pattern. It is not an aqua color either but more of a subdued Robin's Egg Blue. I wish the color was a true pool blue, a true tropical water Bermuda blue color but the subdued Robins egg blue they call Aqua is not bad. I normally wear a size 6 in shorts & ordered a 4 and a 6. The size 6 leg swam on me with too much fabric over the front hips and legs. The size 4 fits pretty well with room to spare in the waist, hips are okay or a tad snug. I could use 1/2" more room. My hips are 37.5". The rise from crotch to waist is good and does not ride up between the bottom.The back of the shorts accentuate the figure with the pockets. I find the 7" too long even at 5'7" tall. I will hem them to 5". I dislike wide leg shorts and these Macy's shorts leg width are fine in a size 4. A cargo pocket on each hip makes you look wider. One pocket would be enough. Glad they are not gusseted which would be even more width.
