Too tight

Runs small. I stressed up to a 12P and could barely get these over my hips. I have other Style & Co jeans in 12P and they have plenty of room. I didn't know if it's poor quality control or just bad sizing. I didn't try another pair to check.

The shorts look and fit like the picture. The problem is they run very small. I ordered my regular size and couldn't button them. I returned them for the next size up and they just fit. If they shrink at all, I won't be able to wear them.
