Defective zipper

I ordered these boots this past Black Friday. These boots were a gift. The recipient opened the box today. When she tried them on she noticed that the zipper on both boots was defective. I will be returning the boots.

Size should be good. Still returning them soon.

Just out of the box and 1 is already cracked and a little peeling! I think it was because they were folded in the box. I didnt notice when trying them on in store, which the size seems to be great! I am going to return them. My shoe guy said its only going to get worse so dont wear them. Just havent been able to get down there yet.

The shoe is very narrow. The calf section is also narrow and zipped up but was tight on my legs. I don’t consider my calves to be big so I was surprised.
