Homeless veterans

As President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 54, Red Wing, MN, we created a project to put new clothing etc into the Veterans Hospital, Mpls,.. Emergency Room, to give to the homeless veterans, men and women, who come into the ER for medical help. They come in dirty, full of lice, etc. These backpacks will be given to the homeless veteran so they can keep their possessions in them, and not a paperback, grocery story bag, or dirty pillowcase. The price was right (they were on sale) so we will see how our homeless veterans like these and will order more if the medical staff gives us the okay to do so.
