Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner is formulated to target oily and acne-prone skin. It immediately melts from a treatment gel to a water toner as it is massaged into the skin. Bentonite clay mattifies excess oil while visibly reducing pore size. Marshmallow and green tea soothe and diminish the look of redness for a calmer-feeling complexion, while cucumber and witch hazel extracts tone and tighten. Manuka (a relative of tea tree oil), in conjunction with black cumin and magnolia bark extracts, provides purifying properties to balance oily and problem skin conditions while promoting a visibly improved, clearer, smoother, shine-free complexion. Skin is mattified and prepped for further skin care or color application. It also helps to keep foundation set all day.

Not great

I will preface by saying I am obsessed with Sunday Riley and had high hopes for this product since every other product I use has given me amazing results. However I was disappointed here. The product has an off putting consistency that is not pleasant and the odor is off putting. Overall I saw no improvement and am disappointed. Kind of a waste of money. I find this to be a theme with the Sunday Riley line in that you really get what you pay for. The very expensive products are absolutely amazing with phenomenal results while the more affordable products are subpar. This product won’t be making it on my list again unfortunately.

Waste of Money

I use & love the Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream, so thought I'd explore more of the brands products. This seemed to have great reviews and I was in need of a good toner that made my skin and makeup look as good as possible. This martian magnifying toner did neither of those things. Actually, i can't think of ANYTHING it actually did. I didn't notice one upside to using this product. not even basic hydration. also, the packaging is awful. The silver rim coating starts to chip off after pulling off the cap & putting it on over and over. So little specs of the silver paint or whatever get mix up in the product as it's squeezed out and can end up on your face. I had to wipe the bottle exterior clean before and after every use. major pain.

Love this product

I was very skeptical of the Sunday Riley line and did not expect much from it. However, within the first use of the product I was shocked. Yes it does have slightly odd odor to it but you get used to it after 2-3 uses. But it does work and it does clear up and prevent acne. When used with the mask, it gives even better results.
