They actually block out more of the sun and heat than our old ones which is great since we are in FL and the summer months get HOT. The color brightened up our room and they fit the window perfectly.

Pass oh these
Blackout and heavy drapes. The color and pattern on the drapes were hideous and were promptly returned. I wish they had worked.
