It has a ceramic like feel and allows for extremely detailed sculpting. It can also be mixed with premo or Sculpey III to change the color. As with all of our polymer clays, it is easy to condition right out of the package and stays soft until you bake it. Super Sculpey features fine tooling and detailing characteristics, and does not “fill in" after tooling. Because of these characteristics, Super Sculpey is preferred by artists for creating both prototypes and molds from which reproductions are made. Additionally, artists use Super Sculpey to create finely detailed finished sculptures. Stays soft until baked – Does not air dry. Remains soft until it is baked in your home oven. Project Ready

I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago to use on a sculpting project. I found the clay to be super easy to condition and use to complete my project. Will definitely be making that purchase again soon!

HUGE FAN of SCULPEY BEIGE!!!

I'm a child therapist and we use Sculpey beige as our primary medium. It is easy for children to manipulate and make their creations. I also use if for my personal use to make miniatures for Jungian Sandplay. The beige is excellent because after baking, children can paint it however they want, glaze it, and have a masterpiece. This process also naturally created delayed gratification and the journey of healing through an artistic medium.

Professional quality!

This stuff is excellent. It's easy to condition, takes details well, holds its shape well, and it's pretty sturdy after baking. Definitely professional grade clay. I made a couple of nice things so far and plan on buying more.

Nice and firm

I like how Super Sculpey holds together well. It's firm, but fairly easy to form in the shapes I need. It smooths out nicely. There's more than enough in a pack for my art needs. I haven't made anything in a while, but I've made magnets by forming the shape I want, then priming and painting it after baking. I usually have to use several coats of paint to get the look and consistent layering I want, but I find Super Sculpey the best clay to use in this process. The magnets I glue on it adheres well.
