Not as expected

I thought that I was purchasing black out curtains but these are "room darkening" which is misleading. The curtains do not darken the room. The curtains were shorter than I anticipated and there was a visible stain on one.

they are only ok

They do not blackout at all during the day. They only filter. We have mini blinds behind them and thru still don’t blackout. They only help at night with minimal light outside. The stitching at the top does not look good. Big stitches and darker than the curtain.
