Slipcover for smaller wingchair

I like the color and fabric. It's a nice replacement for the one I got from you several years ago. However, even with the Tucks, it doesn't stay in place very well. I suspect it's more the "fault" of the chair than the slipcover. I hope you will continue to carry the slipcovers for these smaller wingchairs. We need them!

Good workmanship, but. . . .

UPDATE: May 19, 2019Well, I have had this slip cover now for six months and it is holding up very well. It dosen't stay in place when someone sits on it, so I am having to refit it on the wing chair every time the wing chair gets used, but the Velcro tabs do keep the slip cover secured around the chair legs. (This is the first time I have ever used a slip cover, so I don't know if this is normal with slip covers or not.)I have not had to rewash the slipcover as of yet; however, the fabric has held up quite well. I have been pleasantly surprised by it's quality. At this point, if I needed a second slip cover I would definitely buy this one again.I wasn't sure about this product because I had read mixed reviews; however, I desperately needed a slip cover for a wing chair until I am able to have it reupholstered. It was more than I wanted to spend, but it was one of the few colors that worked with the space the wing chair is in.When I removed the slipcover from it's package I was skeptical; I thought the fabric was a bit thin and that the fabric on my wing chair would show through. I had already purchased it and figured why not give it a try. I went ahead and washed the slip cover according to the care instructions, before use. (NOTE: be sure to follow the care instructions and wash the slip cover inside out and make sure the velcro tabs are attached to each other before washing.)I watched a manufacturer's online video demonstrating how to use the slipcover on the wing chair and secure it on the chair before I tried it myself. It looked easy enough; however, it turned out to be quite challenging. It was a little challenging to get the slipcover over the wing chair and down its sides because the fabric is very stretchy and kept moving out of place. After about 10 minutes I finally had the slipcover over the back of the chair and down the sides and was ready to secure the velcro tabs around the legs. The velcro tabs were very easy to wrap around the legs and secure. Now, it was time to tuck the fabric into the chair crevices and make it nice and neat. This was also a challenge, as the fabric would not stay tucked into the chair crevices. The slipcover wrapped over the seat cushion just fine and stayed in place; however, the fabric would not stay tucked into the crevices on the back and wings of the chair. This prevented me from achieving a nice neat, crisp end result. So, the slipcover looks very sloppy on the wing chair. As for the fabric itself? it's okay. It is very stretchy, which makes it challenging to work with. It is thick enough that the light colored upholstery on the wing chair does not show through the slipcover. So, I am happy about that. As for durability, I don't know. The quality seems to be okay and the seams are good and there were no loose strings, however, I'm not sure the fabric will stand up to a lot of use. Only time will tell.As far as the value for the money? Well, the workmanship appears to be good, but the fabric quality and durability is questionable. If the fabric proves to be durable and holds up to use, then it will have been a good value for the money. Again, only time will tell.

Looks Great

This is a good product that was true to its description. After reading the directions and watching the video it was slow going but I achieved the wanted results. My second wingback went on more smoothly since I knew what I was doing!

Nice cover

This cover fit decently and worked well for the purpose of coverage although it was still big for my chair and attracts link due to it's black color.

Nice

This chair cover is very attractive but, a bit large for my chair. It takes about 10 minutes to get it on and in place. The excess material won't stay tucked under the cushion and in the chair. Whenever I sit in the chair, I have to re-tuck the material back in the chair when I get up. Other than that it is nice and covers my old stained chair.

Not meant to cover patterns

The reason this isn't a 1-star review is that the cover, once placed properly fit well & looked good. However, the cream color is fairly transparent, and you could easily see the floral fabric of the chair beneath it. Additionally, the fabric of the cover attracts animal hair.
