Lovely but used

I ordered this necklace as a gift for a friend. It arrived in a lovely mauve velvet pouch. However, as I looked it over I noticed several scratches on the backside of the pendant and what appears to be obvious signs of wear. There is also some spots that are dark and cannot be removed. Had it not been so expensive or a gift for another I would have kept it because the black CZ stones are very pretty and it's a nice size. But back it goes.
