I wouldn't buy this camera again
I use this camera in my 2017 camaro and i feel like the camera doesn't work like i want it to. It doesn't capture anything important, like when someone pulled out in front of me. I wish there was a button to manually capture moments, weather its in the app for apart of a software update. it would save the a lot of headache for me.

Worked for a month
Bought from car quest (advance Auto parts) finally got around to installing it for a road trip, after a month, same problem everyone else is having beeps won't emit a Wi-Fi signal to connect to the camera. Waste of money.

Garbage
24 hours after installation I can no longer connect to it and it's beeping as if the SD card is full or not valid.

I have two of these and I'd recommend going another route.
This product is great when it works however, I have two that wind powered just beep. I've tried new microSD I've tried reformatting them. no fix would love it if the software worked.

bought this at advanced auto. trash.
it's been 2 years, and i've had to warranty this camera 3 times and now that my advance auto warranty is gone it's acting up again and won't even boot up. absolute garbage. it should use bluetooth.

Hasn't connected since I bought it
Stuck it to the windshield. It's not recognized by my Android phone so it's impossible to connect. Why did Sylvania make it this complicated?? Just plug it in & it should work. Grrrr...

2 BIG THUMBS DOWN: Waste of time, money and patience...
Terrible app, can't pair cam w/iPhone, but pairs iPod(?). At some point, cam quit charging & shut off; cord works & cam charges w/other cords...IDK. Save time/trouble: buy better cam w/ a better app.
