Small, light, perfect for small canning jobs
I use this small canner to pressure can salsa, beans, other over stock stuff I need to preserve. I have a full size canner but this device is do convient for small jobs. I use is 10x more than my full size.

I like it but the only problem is that I have to set up my timer coz this pot doesn't make sound when it's cooked. It takes really long time to cook beans almost 2 hours

6 years agoNice pot
3 months later, I am still enjoying this pressure cooker and it works just fine. I have no complain right now and not looking for anytime soon. The cooker is good for everything but specially meats for me, frozen or not. It's quite heavy too and i am enjoying it. Will wait for about a year and see how it goes. I use this pot at least 2 twice per month no more than 4 times.

I have this cooker for 2 years and it works great. Cooks fast keeps chicken moist. Only one thing. Someone tald me you can NOT cook rice or oats in it. Don't know where this comes from. But I did it and it works fine. Fast cooking. I cook my oats on lowest setting for 45 minutes. Works great!

Newbie loves this but manual is awful
This is a great little stovetop pressure cooker but I am totally confused. I'm only ever used my mom's old-fashioned one. I don't understand a lot of things and there is no real proper information in the manual about cooking beans, which I do a lot... Chickpeas, And many other assorted types of beans. Unfortunately, the assumption is that a new buyer knows what they're doing. I do not, admittedly. Missing from manual 1. What to expect… How do you even start? ex.Do you heat the water first before putting in your beans to steam? 2. Why does the water spit out instead of coming up in a nice little stream? Am I setting the heat too high? 3. If there are any good recipes on beans on video, I cannot find them. 4. Order of adding ingredients For soups, stews, and bean dishes. 5. I do not want to use click release in most instances. So how do I continue once it starts to steam, do I have to adjust the temperature on the stove? 6. How to hard boil eggs with that little egg Holder that can be purchased elsewhere? 7. Overall, the manual is fine as far as offering settings but it doesn't tell you how to do anything. A step-by-step demo would be delightful!!! I could probably find a dozen other things that I don't know about but the main things that upsets me is the spitting of water instead of just steam escaping. I never fill above the fill line or even close. Otherwise, the cooker is sturdy and extremely well-made. I am glad I bought it but I've spent endless hours trying to get answers to simple questions that could have been provided. That is the reason for four stars instead of five. Otherwise it deserves a definite five!
