Gold metallic thread? No, thank you.

I was so excited to get this skirt because I thought it was the exact same one I'd recently seen on a woman in DC. Well, it arrived and I didn't even take it out of the wrapper because I could see that the fabric had gold metallic thread throughout. That wasn't in the online description; if it had been, I would never have bought the skirt. Macy's, please include information like this in your item descriptions - some people, myself included, only wear silver and others don't care for metallics at all.
