Bold!

Beautiful shoes with gorgeous color! I love the pattern, and I get lots of compliments. The straps are little light so we will see how they hold up.

So far so good (I think)

Ultimately, I like these shoes. But there were/are a few issues. 1. They arrived tight. Painfully/uncomfortably so. I do appreciate the Taft team recommendation to take them to a cobbler. 2. The unexpected extra expense for a cobbler + cider shoe trees to keep them in the desired size. 3. After only one event, the outsole is surprisingly scuffed up. Is this normal? Pictures are provided. (Also, another note. This is the third time I've written this review. Your site keeps wiping the slate clean before I can "submit it". That's a bit annoying) Having said all that, I do love the look. On top of receiving several compliments. I'm looking forward to wearing the other pairs of Taft shoes I've bought, so I can see how they fare.

Gorgeous Shoes

With these shoes, Taft is going back to its roots of classic design and a twist of modern touch. I was a fan of Taft’s (I own around 10-12 pairs) before it got too carried away with very flashy and ornate patterns. Beautiful, simple, high quality — everything I expect from the good old Taft.
