This brush detangles but it also pulls out alot of hair. I would lose chunks and chunks of hair when I would detangle in the shower. Been using it for years, and one day, I got an epiphany to use another brush, and sure enough, it's been the brush thinning out my super, thick hair.

I was nervous at first because I did not think it would do well brushing and detangling my hair in the shower, I thought it would hurt or the bristles would break. None of that! It has taken some very serious knots out of my curly hair which means a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Tangle Teezer in the shower on wash day and it absolutely detangles my curls and gets them clumping together. It also helps to distribute conditioner and product from root to tip!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a good brush to add to my collection of brushes and combs because they’re a bit closer so it really helps with getting that trapped dead hair out. I almost have a great regime for this 4C hair to be detangled! I would say it can get difficult holding the brush when you have a lot of product on but that’s normal. Give a try!
