Nice Setting

The setting on this ring is beautiful and the ring fits true to size. The only negative is the color of the stone. When you put it on, it appears very dark. Not dark enough to be mistaken for an onyx but dark enough to think it's a lower end sapphire. It's nowhere near a tanzanite color. It looks very different when held up to the light but if you're wearing it, it looks much darker. The setting makes up for this for me but I would've preferred it if it had been a true tanzanite color as advertised. If I had paid more for it, I would've returned it.
