I always use Tarte's Lip primer. It keeps my lipstick on until I'm ready to take it off. With that said, as soon as I looked at the lipstick, I knew it was too dark for me. My complexion is very fair, and dark lipsticks make my mouth look like a clowns mouth.I would recommend this color to anyone with a medium to dark complexion. And I highly recommend Tarte's lip primer. It's the best I've ever used.

This duo sounds good, but that's about it! My lips looked ok, but felt very dry. I think you should pass on this one!

I've played it safe for so long on lip color that this was a bit of a shock for me. That's not the fault of the product by any means. Once I'd gotten used to seeing a brighter, richer hue on my lips, I loved it. This is also the first primer I've ever used, and it made a world of difference so far as not feathering or bleeding. I will be buying a second set to put up for use in the future.

Primer works well and has great staying power. The color is "Primrose", sort of a wine-red with a hint of deep pink; very pretty. Has a nice light fragrance and also stays on well.
