Great Cars and Exciting, Less Durable than Desired

My son (7 years old) loves the toy. It gives the thrill of a real speedway and the cars are pretty durable, however, the race track itself is not of high quality. The pieces were coming unhinged from each other while the cars were "racing" along the track. My husband super glued them together so they would remain in tact.
