The fit is odd

I have narrow feet and usually wear 7.5, these boots are too tight and around my ankles are boxy and very uncomfortable. Around the calves are weird and stiff too. Even if they have the stretchy look, they are way too tight and uncomfortable. I don't think if I size up my problem would be solved, they are just very boxy and uncomfortable. I don't know why people rated so high and were saying they are comfortable. I wear Teva sandals for years and they are very comfortable but not these boots. Plus I received them with scratches all over them. I will definitely return them.

Bulky ankle

Nice for around calf, however when walking extra material around ankle made it very uncomfortable. Returned for that reason.

Odd fit but nice boot

These boots are great quality and look really nice. However, they are so hard to get on! I wish the zipper came all the way down but you have to get your foot in at a weird angle. I'm keeping them because it was a great price and so many boots are cheaply made now, but they are a lot of work to get on and feel tight from my arch to my ankle which is such a weird place to be tight! Hoping they stretch out because otherwise, i would love them.

Truly waterPROOF

Very comfortable - right out of the box. I felt they were true to size with enough room for wool socks. These boots will be great for serious rain and slushy sidewalks. I would say they are more for city/travel wear than for hiking/off trail. I wore them all day and found them warm and comfortable. I like that they are very plain, no fold over fur cuffs or buckle decoration. I hope Macy's carries more Teva styles.

Could be a great boot for you depending on...

How much flexibility you like in a boot. Personally, I like to be able to comfortably bend and flex my feet and ankles. The leather is quite thick which is nice but there isn't any give in them; I couldn't find any reviews of these online so I want to be as thorough as possible. There is minimal arch support and the calves are on the wider side for a regular calfed boot. I like that the soles are textured for ice/snow but wish the boot had more give to it, I ordered these and a another pair at the same time and am returning these in favore of the other brand. The leather of the boots are also lighter in person than in the images but only by a little.
