Web ID: 6565043Love this!! I wear this with a knit red cardigan..
I get a ton of complements when I pair this with a red knit cardigan and red pumps. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I have almost all of her skirts!! They do run a tad long for me. I'm 5'4" and wear a large. I'm able to take mine up using a serger to close end so the material doesn't run and then using a double needle stitch to hem. I don't have a Cover Stitch machine, that would be ideal but the double needle stitch works perfect and gives a nice stretchy stitch! LOVE Thalia skirts!! It's worth the 20 minutes of hemming.
I like it
I saw the other reviews of this particular Thalia Sodi Pencil Skirt, but I have several others in different patterns / colors so I decided to try it anyway. Mine has no smell whatsoever. The bad smell on others or no smell on mine was just a fluke? Anyway, in terms of cut, tailoring, fit, and colors, I love this Thalia Sodi Pencil Skirt, just like the others. Form-fitting and looks sexy without looking trashy.
Pretty skirt but smells bad
This skirt smelled bad when I took it out of the bag. I have purchased 4 skirts by Thalia Sodi and none of them smelled liked this skirt. I kept the skirt because the colors were so pretty in the skirt. I washed the skirt and put a top full of fabric softner to get rid of the bad smell.
Nice Skirt but SMELLS HORRIBLE!!!
The good: Nice design, knee length The bad: Nauseating, horrible, disgusting smell. I should have returned it immediately but I liked the skirt and decided to wash and keep it. But the smell is still there - smells like burnt rubber mixed with skunk spray. I don't know what kind of material was used but I've only smelled this on cheap stuff, made and shipped from China. I've been shopping at Macy's for over 18 years and have never encountered this kind of nasty smell. Macy's has always been known for high quality material. I guess not anymore.
