Nice translation and bindings

I know some people don’t realize that Aladdin was added later from the orginal translations from the original story lines so sometimes it can feel like it’s different translations but I even know Harry Potter books are not translated well into Dutch so it happens. But I see no issues with this book and all its short stories. I’ve read some already and been enjoying rereading it again years later in a book that I know can own.

Extremely Racist Translation

I should've known this would be a racist copy as soon as I saw the Indian (Hindi) font for the title. It is a common thing for westerners to intermix and confuse Arabian and Indian cultures, as Disney did with Princess Jasmine who is originally Iraqi and her famous beloved, Aladdin, from this very book. However, it was my mistake to overlook what I thought was a small detail. In the very first page, it mentions a character becoming a king of "Barbarian Land." In the second, it gets worse and it would not be appropriate to mention. It is 2024 and no one bothered to double-check any of these mistakes before publishing? It is a shame since it has a beautiful cover, complete with traditional Islamic geometric art and Arabic calligraphy on both sides of the cover. It also has beautiful pages and illustrations inside. Barnes and Noble, consider fixing this copy and re-publishing a more respectful and refined version. Also, remember to correct the name.

Terrible translation

This translation is very difficult to read, racist, and not well executed. Pick another one.
