The description reads that the item is 22.9 inches (denoted ") in diameter, then describes the height in cm. The item is 22.9 cm in diameter, so materially different than the descrition and changes the functional use of the item. Its a big soup bowl, and not a bowl for serving salad to multiple guests

This is a great bowl. It’s made well. But it’s big and it’s deep. So if you’re looking for a big, deep, white bowl at a great price this is it. You can’t go wrong with The Cellar James products.
