Wedding Gift

Great Set

I started off with plastic (tubberware) plates, bowls, and cups, but now I have a nice set of china to eat off of without feeling broke. I didn't read the description fully the first time and bought 4 of these sets, however, I returned them and got the larger set to help accommodate my 10 family member get togethers. Dishwasher safe and have yet to chip.

Love these zen dishes!

I am rating these a 4 rather than a 5 simply because I'd disappointed at the ease in already chipping one of the plates, less than a month after receiving them. While I should certainly be more careful, I have two other sets of dishes - one I inherited from my great-aunt over 30 years ago, and the other an antique set, also square, that I received as a wedding gift over 40 years ago. I've never chipped any of those other dishes. That said, I got a great price and I love the stark, simple white in comparison to my other "flowery" dish sets!

Needs Some Work!

I purchased to replace my long time dailyware and the plates had the worst manufacturers defect. However, Macy's gave me no trouble when I returned them.

poor quality.

A lot of black brown dots all over the smaller plate.. poor quality. I only bought this because they had 5 star rate. I dont understand how can Macys sell very bad quality products and rate tthem 5 stars.

love my purchase

Each piece is the perfect size and shape. We like the rounded square because it gives the dishes some style. The bowl is perfect for cereal in the morning and the larger mug is perfect for that morning cup of coffee!
