Statement Piece

This is a beautiful and unique coat. I've received compliments everywhere I go ... store, work, etc. I'm an art teacher and every time I entered the school building, a student would compliment me on my coat, too. (They have impeccable taste. :) )The green color is lovely for the winter months and the hood is substantial to keep your head warm. You have sufficient room in it as to wear layers beneath it. It's a quality coat and the fact that it has the side slits and real fur makes you stand out from anyone else.

More casual...

Ordered the khaki during the closeout, which is more like a grey green. As other reviews mentioned, the fur has no sheen so looks nothing like the picture. Fox trim on hood is lovely. Overall, coat is nice quality. Because I don't plan to add additional layers, I ordered one size down (XL) which fit fine with still enough room in arms, shoulders and chest. If layering, stick with your normal size.

Crazy as a fox about this coat

I have to weigh in with these reviews. I saw this coat in person first so I know the color was flat and not like the picture. I was obsessed from the get go and finally ordered the green when it went down in price. I love it so much. It’s extremely warm - way warmer than my dawn levy down coat (which I also love). The cold simply does not penetrate this coat. I’m in NYC and CT. It’s oversized. I am 5’7” and thin; I have the small and it fits big but I love it’s big coziness. The fur is dramatic. I’ve had people stop me on the street to ask where I got it - even some guy shouted “beautiful coat!” It’s very unique. I like the two way zipper - which does rattle a bit when I take the coat on and off. I lamented this purchase so much that I had all my friends, husband and daughter weigh in. The overwhelming response was: you only live once! Just get it! Ironically, it turns out to be the most practical coat for this climate.

Believe the Bad Reviews!

The fabric is horrible! Coat really does look like carpeting. Nothing at all resembling fur.

Not as advertised

This coat has a Dull appearance, uncomfortable and unattractive. I returned it.

Wine lamb coat its heavy and toasty but runs large

I had to return this magnificent coat - sob - but if you live in the colder climes it is a must buy! For me - I live in LV - and the coat was too much for me -too heavy but beautiful. I pirchased the wine but could barely lift the weight on my body - it also ran quitelarge. If you are in a blizzard zone this is the must buy of all times - how many years can you still keep wearing puffer coats (except for skiing) - go dare them all and wear fur for it is the warmest natural covering on earth. Highly recommend - just too big and heavy for me - if I still lived in NYC I would treasure it - also, the olive color looked smashing and different, too. Try it - you will be thrilled!
