Cute, but...

This vest is cute and soft, but not very flattering on a petite, I am 5'2"(34" bust and 37" hips) and when I put it on, my hips instantly grew two sizes( I didn't mind the growth in the bust area :-) ). I think if you are tall and thin, and not very curvy, you could pull off This vest very attractively. Perhaps if it was wider in the shoulders, or if the shall collar was much wider it would look more balanced. It has slit pockets, which do not help with the hip appearance, on me. I love the texture and the look of Tibetan wool, and when I folded this vest to a shorter length, like right at my hip area, than it looked much better. I ordered the dark purple, and the color I would say is more of a dark chocolate brown with perhaps some purple undertones, depending on how the light hits it. I had no issue with the color but if you're thinking eggplant purple, it is not that. Btw, delivery was very fast, it was delivered from a warehouse in NJ, on the same day I received a confirmation from customer service that the product was shipped and a UPS Express box was included in the package for a return, all I had to do is print the free label. Great customer service!
