Great Plot, Bad Ending

The Giver... The Giver is a interesting book that really portrays a somewhat perfect society, but perfection comes at a sacrifice in this Dystopian novel. The books main character is named Jonas. I think Lois Lowry did a fantastic job with Jonas's character development. I like the way Jonas started out being clueless at the start then he began to find out more and more about the lie he has been living in for years. While I loved most of the book, I was not a big fan of the ending. I feel it could have played a bit better. Still, overall was a great book.

Great storyline!

An amazing book, would definitely recommend! :) I got it as a Christmas present a few years back and I'm so glad I did. The books that follow are also better than I thought, so the overall series is one of my favorites.
