Excellant Bible

This is a review of the Simplified King James Version of the Bible Hardback Red Letter Edition by Barbour Publishing copyrighted @ 2022. This is a very good version of the Bible. I am by no means a Hebrew or Greek scholar and so my comparison was done with the KJV of the Bible. In my personal research of the KJV, I believe that the translators used the best manuscripts in the translation even with the latest and greatest manuscripts used today. The KJV is still a very accurate and one of the best translations today. So, I compared the Simplified King James Version with the King James Version. In my humble opinion the updated verbs, the more common words replacing the archaic words, the capitalization of God pronouns, the modern punctuation, the use of paragraphs and the use of quotation marks all enhance the readability of the King James version while keeping the accuracy and beauty of it I found no areas or words that were changed that would detract or jeopardize the KJV authenticity. I love the wide margins for notes. If you are looking for an accurate, simple language Bible, this is it. Ronnie B.
