The perfect fall book!

Autumnal hilarity!

Wonderful characters in a vibrantly colored setting, Squirrel freaks out when the leaves start to disappear. Bird calmly tries to remind Squirrel that this happens every year, but Squirrel becomes hysterical day after day as more leaves are "stolen." He starts to understand from Bird's patient explanation about the wind... just in time for the snow to fall and "steal" the grass! Young kids will love the ridiculousness of Squirrel's extreme reactions. The illustrations are delightful and the story makes for a great read aloud.
