Amazing book!
I've read the entire series and this is probably my favorite book in the series, but Turtle's comes in second place!

A great start to the new arc.
Oh, Blue stole my heart immediately. š All he wants is to follow the rules, be a good SilkWing, and trust that the system around him is doing what itās supposed to do. What makes this book hit is that Blue isnāt a fighter. He doesnāt want rebellion or chaos ā he wants things to be fair. As he slowly realizes the world he believes in isnāt as just as he was taught, his story becomes less about action and more about moral courage. Watching Blue learn to question authority, sit with uncomfortable truths, and still choose whatās right was incredibly satisfying. His strength comes from empathy, not aggression ā and that felt especially powerful for a middle grade story. By the end, Blue doesnāt suddenly become someone else. Heās still gentle. Heās still careful. But heās willing to act for justice, even when it scares him. A thoughtful, emotionally grounded middle grade read that proves bravery doesnāt have to be loud to matter. šš
