A great start to the new arc.

Oh, Blue stole my heart immediately. šŸ’™ All he wants is to follow the rules, be a good SilkWing, and trust that the system around him is doing what it’s supposed to do. What makes this book hit is that Blue isn’t a fighter. He doesn’t want rebellion or chaos — he wants things to be fair. As he slowly realizes the world he believes in isn’t as just as he was taught, his story becomes less about action and more about moral courage. Watching Blue learn to question authority, sit with uncomfortable truths, and still choose what’s right was incredibly satisfying. His strength comes from empathy, not aggression — and that felt especially powerful for a middle grade story. By the end, Blue doesn’t suddenly become someone else. He’s still gentle. He’s still careful. But he’s willing to act for justice, even when it scares him. A thoughtful, emotionally grounded middle grade read that proves bravery doesn’t have to be loud to matter. šŸ‰šŸ“š
