I'm a little disappointed with this book so far. Some of the things she suggests are a bit overboard, like turning off your wifi whenever you're not using it for inconclusive fears of EMFs. What really grinds my gears is her suggesting that moms don't critically need vaccines. I found her lackadaisical attitude toward vaccines dangerous. The biggest side effect of vaccines? Less dead children. I'm hoping this can still be helpful for a journey to an unmedicated birth, but the Mayo Clinic book is much more helpful. Take this book with many grains of salt!

Only Good For Some Mama's
I bought this book when i first found out i was pregnant thinking it would be really helpful since i'll be a first time mother, and it was good, HOWEVER, i wouldn't call it a week by week guide. The only information about the actual pregnancy it gives you week to week, is the first cover page of each week. The rest of the chapters are basically just the authors personal experience among random other information. For example one entire chapter was dedicated to getting a birthing photographer which really doesn't have anything to do with the actual pregnancy. I guess if you are planning on taking an extremely holistic approach to your pregnancy this would be more up your alley, but if you're looking for something a little more informative i'd go with the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy.
