Poor and Needless Plot
I read this book, and page after page I was hit with unnecessary events that had nothing to do with the story, but just to invoke a reaction from the reader. The Story itself started off pretty well, though the end was atrocious.

Beautiful story
A beautiful way to teach. This is an incredible story of resilience and hope. The author wove a beautifully, courageous story, that allows the reader to be drawn in to the history of the characters and holds you with the courage that each character has to continue to not just survive but thrive because their history and culture. Its beautifully written and I look forward to reading more works by this author.

Indigenous dystopian
An intimate and engrossing Indigenous dystopia. Follow along with French as he and his family fight for survival in the Canadian bush. Experiencing love, heart break, and the after effects of genocide all while trying to preserve their cultures and reconnect to their ancestors. The Marrow Thieves is a beautifully woven tapestry that shows the importance of community, connection, and the magic and life that words and stories hold within them. A must read for dystopian and YA lovers alike. Grab a tissue and tuck in because this story will hook you in and take you on a journey for your life.

Amazing
I bought this book about a week ago and though it was shorter than I would usually read, the author really got all the detail into the book.

Quick read with plot
Beautiful story, and I got the one thing I wanted out of the ending. This is a quick and easy read, with cultural notes and the importance of community. Mixes coming of age with dystopia future, and I think the author portrays how a teenager would navigate this environment wonderfully.
