Def had a moment where it felt like a slow build but then once I hit a certain point, I could not put it down! By the end I couldn’t see through my tears!

AMAZING
I bought this book last month and I am so glad I did!! this was so emotional and definitely a page turner! The love between different kinds of relationships was beautiful. I will def look for more Kristin Hannah books

Ripped my Heart Out - Beautiful
My heart aches after finishing this book but, I loved every moment! Intensely emotional and tragically beautiful. Easily, one of the best book I've ever read.

An Incredible Book by an Incredible Writer
I have read a lot of WWII novels. Sometimes I have to take a break because they leave me sad to think of all the horror that happens in wars. This book was hard to read but it made me think that all the problems I have are nothing. Nada. I would have never been as brave as Isabelle or Vianne, or so many of the characters in the book. Also, I think it's important that we never forget those times of war, every one of them... the Holocaust, the Vietnam war (Hannah's book THE WOMEN is another great book!), etc.

An Honest Review…
“The Nightingale" is a captivating and beautifully crafted story that takes you deep into the lives of two sisters during World War II in France. Kristin Hannah does a fantastic job of bringing the historical setting to life, making you feel the tension and the emotional weight of the characters' experiences. The bond between the sisters is at the heart of the novel, and their different approaches to survival and resistance are both compelling and thought-provoking. The writing is vivid and evocative, drawing you in and making you care about what happens to them. While there are moments that might feel a bit slow, the overall journey is incredibly rewarding. It's a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity. Definitely a must-read for anyone who loves historical fiction! Four stars for this emotional rollercoaster!
